Highland Mills Rod Company brings you a complete line of handcrafted, beautifully finished bamboo fly rods at an affordable price. We have a range of rods from a delicate 6’6” wand for a 3 weight line to a powerful 8’0” rod for a 7 weight line, with everything in between.

In addition we offer a classic, solid frame fly reel with serpentine “S” handle and solid black end plates. These reels are available in 2½ or 3 inch models. They will accommodate 3 or 4 weight and 5 or 6 weight lines with backing.

  • Ferrules, hook keepers and winding checks are nickel silver.
  • 3 and 4 weight rods are fitted with nickel silver slide band reel seat with a maple insert
  • 5 &7 weight rods have an anodized up-locking, screw lock reelseat with a walnut insert.
  • Each rod is supplied with two tips, aluminum rod tube and poplin rod bag.

  •     In the tradition of Walker and Vom Hofe, these classic reels of polished anodized aluminum and nickel silver , with aluminum spools are available in two sizes. The click drag is a fixed ,pawl drag.The end plates are of black anodized aluminum. Reels are supplied with a drawstring soft leather bag.
  • Available in 2½ inch diameter for 3 or 4 weight lines with backing, and 3 inch diameter for 5 or 6 weight lines with backing All rods and reels carry a one year warrantee against any defects in materials or workmanship.

We guarantee our rods, blanks and reels to be free of defects in manufacture and materials for a period of one year from date of purchase.

Replacement rod sections are available in the event of breakage.
